Bunco Club
Calling all Oxxford Hunt women! Where should you be at 7pm on the third Wednesday of each month? Having fun! At the clubhouse! No excuses, come on down to play Bunco! Bunco is an easy and popular dice game of chance. We welcome everyone from the novice to the experienced player. For our group, there is no exact number of players -- each week we make it work with who is there and we still have fun. There is always plenty of eating, drinking, and socializing to make the evening worthwhile. Our games are upbeat and social in nature, with no shortage of engaging conversation. Some people bring appetizers, snacks, desserts, and/or beverages to share. This group consists only of women who reside in Oxxford Hunt, and we always welcome new players/neighbors! Meet neighbors you didn't know you had. Find out more about the ones you do know. You may come each and every month or simply come on an occasional no-obligation basis when your schedule permits. After you come once, you will look forward to the next one! Any woman who wants to join us may simply just come to the clubhouse on a game night, or contact Amy for more information. Email the Bunco Club >>

Wine Tasting Club
The wine tasting club is open to all residents of Oxxford Hunt interested in learning more about wine and getting to know their neighbors better. The club meets about once a quarter on Fridays at the clubhouse (based on availability). Couples take turns hosting the tasting: lining up food (each couple brings an appetizer/dessert) collecting RSVP's and money (usually $10 per person to cover expenses). The host lines up a representative from The Wine Merchant or other local area wine store to come in and conduct a professional, educational tasting based on a pre-selected theme. Past themes have included "wines from around the world", dessert wines, and Spanish wines. Meets quarterly at the clubhouse, generally on a Friday evening. Email the Wine Tasting Club >>

Playgroup
Do you have a young child? Does your child like play dates? Are you free on Wednesday mornings? Then join us -- the Cary Playgroup! This group enables parents and their young children in Oxxford Hunt and the surrounding area time for companionship and play with others. The children in the group range from newborn to those soon-to-be entering kindergarten, and all ages in between. We meet regularly on Wednesday mornings from 10am-noon. Our play dates are most often held at playgrounds in Cary. Alternate locations have included the Oxxford Hunt clubhouse, member’s houses, Monkey Joes, Jumpin Beans, other indoor play areas, and the local fire station for a tour. The kids and parents also enjoy seasonal activities like berry picking, holiday parties, and swimming. We are always looking for more friendly neighbors to socialize with, so if you and your baby/toddler/preschooler(s) want to meet with us on Wednesday mornings, we would love it! You will have a lot of fun! The parents get as much enjoyment (or more!) out of each play date as the children! We coordinate playgroup and maintain communication via a YahooGroups listserve. Contact Amy for more information. Email the Playgroup >>
